As winners of the Northumberland Seniors Golf League 2018  a match against the Northumberland County Seniors was arranged and played at Three Mile Bridge on Thursday 2nd May 2019.  The cold and persistent rain did little to diminish the competitivness of the players  who individually and collectively played some excellent golf.. The result quite remarkable given the talent in the visitors team - a 9-3 WIN for the CITY SENIORS.

It is my intention after organising the Joe Farley Salver to be played on 21st MAY to stand down as Chairman of the section and as the Club's representative with the Northumberland Seniors Golf League.

I would therefore welcome an opportunity to discuss the scope of administrating these responsibilities with anyone interested.
