An outstanding 12-0 WIN at home versus Gosforth Golf Club played last Thursday.
This result is impressive and places the team 1 point behind leaders Northumberland who unfortunately also had a 12-o win.
Three matches remain and winning the league title remains a possibility. Congratulations to all those who represented the Club.

A win against the leaders of the league- Northumberland this week was an outstanding result the winning margin 10-2.

A successful day with a full field of players vying for the significant prize list - £200 to the winners.
It is pleasing that City members J WATSON & M RIDLEY were the winners returing 46 points (won on back nine)
In third place another City member, John STEPHENSON & partner from Whitley Bay GC returning 46 points.

A depleted field of 23 members teed off on a cool damp morning all vying for the trophy first played for in 2003 & won by John R Mitchell. The competition a ‘qualifier’ with returned scores entered on computer with handicap consequences to the players. The competition results can be viewed on ‘HowDidiDo’...

The CITY have yet again excelled in the 3rd match of the season playing at home against Bedlingtonshire recording
an emphatic 11 - 1 win. Congratulatios to all the team players - may it continue into the future.
Season so far - win 10 - 2 v Westerhope and a competitive 6 - 6 draw away to Ttynemouth.
