Many congratulations to Andrew Minnikin on winning the County Championship at Ponteland on Sunday. In difficult conditions he beat Ponteland member Russell Hayhoe 4&3 to win the title for the fourth time.
Andrew also won the George Renwick Medal for the best gross score on Sunday.

Well done also to the evergreen Ken Cairns who won the best nett on Sunday, and Philip Ridden who both got through to the knockout stages

Congratulations to Paul Messner who has won a fourball voucher for Ramside Golf Cub's Cathedral Course in the  Captain's Charity draw! £117.50 has been raised, thank you to everyone who took part. 

We are very sad to announce the death of John Gibson. John passed away on Wednesday 14^th June at the age of 65.

He joined the City in 1972 and was a member of the General Committee for several years carrying out many roles including Greens Chairman.

Our thoughts are with his partner Joanne and his family and friends at this very sad time.

The funeral will be taking place on the 4th July at 12:00pm at the West Road Crematorium.
