James Walmsley held a narrow lead most of the night, but opponent David Torrence's putter got hot on 16 and 17 holing from distance on both to tie the match with one to go: James unfortunately found the water, on one of the county's most challenging final holes, eventually losing one down.

Karl Mossom playing some nice golf, picked up the points against David Chambers (3&2), who'd fought back with a birdie, birdie, eagle run to get within one on the back 9.
