Congratulations to the winner who was presented with the trophy
& a bottle of whisky in the clubhouse.
The generosity of many members who donated bottle prizes is acknowledged
- donations swelling the number of prizes on the day. Of those receiving a prize many
immediately returned their prize as a donation towards the prize list for the
‘Senior Men’s Open’ to be played on 20th June.
Such gestures were much appreciated particularly by Tony Dancer who is organising the event.
Once again, many thanks extended to all of the players.
John May donated a bottle of whisky which was raffled on the day
with £50.00 going into the section kitty. This money was immediately passed to Tony Dancer to be used to purchase prizes for the Men’s Senior Open.
During the presentation a minutes silence was observed in respect to Joe Farley who as indicated played a pivotal role in promoting the ‘section’ over many years.
Lite Bite much appreciated by the players.
All in all an enjoyable day.
