When we return to golf on Monday, we will be playing Preferred Lies on the fairways only, but not in the semi-rough, long rough or plantations. Players may place the ball within 6 inches, and no nearer the hole. This is a short term measure and we will send out a further communication when Preferred Lies are withdrawn.
Preferred Lies will continue to be in operation in bunkers as part of our Covid precautions.
The formal definition is included below and will be displayed in the Locker Rooms.
