Nice weather at last for our trip to Arcot Hall.

A late change in the order with Ken Cairns having to withdraw with a back injury; reserve Dave Ridley stepping in at number 6.

Andrew Minnikin made a great birdie on the stroke 1 16th hole to go dormie and win his match on the next against Club Champion Jonny Brookes.

Phil Ridden, our top points scorer going into the night, suffered a rare defeat against Josh Brookes (Jonny's brother)

Ian Davidson playing slightly up the order at 3, remained unbeaten picking up 2 points against Jim Rutherford.

James Walmsley lost to an inform Steven Ashley who was quick off the blocks with a birdie fest on the front 9.

Paul Souter missing last week, due to the birth of son Harvey, picked up where he left off continuing his 100% record with a 4 & 2 win over Craig Hastings  

Dave Ridley (pictured) stepping in for Ken produced a fine performance to win 2 & 1 against Nick Cassidy on a course he hadn't played for 22 years.

Final result 8 - 4
