Phil Ridden claimed a fantastic victory winning the Logan Trophy at Thorpness, Suffolk today.

In a tense final round Phil managed to hang on to his overnight lead, and win by one shot on +5, to lift the English Mid Amateur Title.

Andrew Minnikin hung around all day to finish second, one shot behind on +6.

Alex Dixon won his singles point in a tough County match against Yorkshire, so yet another successful weekend of golf by the City lads.

Well done Phil on winning another national title.
