Our Lady Captain Val is made of stern stuff; in bitterly cold driving rain she hit the ball to mark the start of our season.  The Course was closed due to flooding so our Captain v Vice Captain match was cancelled. However, this did not put the City Ladies off from turning out to support our Captain Val & Vice Captain Chrissie. ( Have to apologise for some photos as my camera seems to have taken in some rain water.)
