Fedex Winter Competition: 

Final will be played on Saturday 23rd March and all prizes will be paid out on this one day. The winner of the Fedex Cup will be the person that wins on Finals Day and not the league table.

 

How do I qualify for the final? 

Finish in top 30 in midweek league or top 30 in weekend league

 

 

How many times can I play each week?

You may play on multiple occasions midweek and once on a weekend. 

 

 

What will be the Prize payouts and finals payout ? 

£2 entry per player, a % will be retained for the finals day pot and the balance paid out in prizes to both midweek and weekend compeition. 1st 50% 2nd 30% 3rd 20%.The prizes will be capped as per normal club competitions at £50 and then more places paid out as appropiate.

 

 

If I finish in top 30 of both leagues what happens? 

Your highest position will be your qualification and space in the other league released.

 

 

So what prizes will there be if I were to finish top of a league?

There will be a small prize for finishing top of a league depending on pot total, this prize will not exceed £50. If pot allows there may be prizes to top 3 in each league.

 

 

Will there be bonus points allocated to people depending on final league position?

NO.... everyone will be start on finals day on same basis, The key is qualification to play for the prize pot.

 

 

What will prizes be on finals day?

This will be 'tbc' depending on pot total. Hopefully there will be a multitude of prizes paid out. 

 

 

When does it start? 

October 1st, midweek and then there will be one weekend day selected each week around the other club winter competition.

 

 

 

Will there be handicap cuts?

Yes there will be handicap cuts after each week of play, this will be part of your winter handicap which affects other winter club comps. Cuts will be based on same congu rules as in summer, the handicap committee will have at their discretion the remit to apply 'general adjustments' where necessary.

 

Will the handicaps be a winter handicap from the start?

No, until the course changes over to winter conditions we will continue to operate as per summer comps and summer handicaps. With such a slow start to the season we will extend into October until the weather or course tells us otherwise.

 

 

How do I get points for the league table?

Stableford points = league points.  28 = 50pts,  29 = 60pts, 30 = 70pts, 31 = 80pts, 32 = 90pts, 33 = 100pts, 34 = 110pts, 35 = 120pts, 36 = 130pts, 37 = 140pts, 38 = 180pts, 39 = 200pts, 40 = 220pts, 41 = 240pts, 42 = 260pts, 43 = 280pts, 44 = 300pts
