Captains Julie and Chris would like to thank everyone who attended the Dinner Dance at the weekend. We both thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The entertainment, The Klack, were excellent and they donated a significant part of their fee to St Oswald’s hospice. Thanks to Sharon White for organising them for us.
Everyone was well looked after by Liam, Judith and the front of house staff so a big thank you to them. Thanks also to Glenn and his team in the kitchen for a splendid dinner.
Well over £700 was raised for Smile for Life, this year’s charity, so special thanks to those who contributed, including Jim Screen who made a very generous bid in the auction.
