Pace of Play Rule

Latest News : Pace of Play Rule

Diary Rule Change

Club Diary, Course Rules. Page 84, Rule 6.

Single players have no standing and must give way to any other form of match.  A single player must not have 2 balls in play.

Effective from today, will be replaced by the following:

Priority on the course is determined by a groups pace of play.

Any group playing a whole round is entitled to pass a group playing a shorter round.

The term group includes a single player. A single player must not have more than 2 balls in play.

It's is a groups responsibility to keep up with the group in front.  If it loses a clear hole and it is delaying the group behind, it MUST invite the group behind to play through, irrespective of the number of players in that group.

Where a group has not lost a clear hole, but it is apparent that the group behind can play faster, it MUST invite the faster moving group to play through.

This aligns the club with 2008 R&A rulings on Course Ettiquette.
